I`d already known for a long time that the band APTEKA had stirred up controversy among the local artistic circles. But I hadn`t realize how strong it had been until the 11th – the day when they staged in SPATiF. Then I personally could see what was all about. Now facts. The very information on the gig caused turmoil among fans and old friends of Kodym (Vocal & guitar), and that could be seen during the band`s run – through.

  
 
 

The gig started with a scheduled hold – up and was going on until midnight. Kodym and his colleagues performed almost all old pieces that the audience were pretty well familiar with. Kodym said that he hadn`t given a fuck, and he acted likewise, which means that he adopted unpretentious and straightforward approach. Twice, He suddenly stopped playing and took a break, which was apparently mark of his stage antics, after all no one were surprised. Regardless of numerous calls they didn`t play one of their new songs entitled “Police and Authorities stink up the air”, which was a pity. In spite of expectation APTEKA didn`t create any scandals, didn`t play the superb concert, but for sure they managed to muster the largest number of people in a seven – year history of SPATiF. Some people love and some people hate APTEKA, and some people are just name – droppers that`s why they popped in here. Anyway there are only few old bands nowadays that are able to turn up onstage and play as they used to do.
